Players to Watch:

A. J. Brown (WR): Mike brought A.J. over in an offseason trade with Cody (NUT). The Six had a great deal of fantasy success in having at least 1 or 2 wide receivers consistently scoring at the top of DFFL and reaching Top 5 status week-to-week. A.J. Brown is certainly a "Top 5" reciever in talent and historically with the Eagles. However, owners have unresolved questions as to of A.J.'s use in 2024. If A.J. can remain the most targeted WR for Jalen Hurts, and if he maintains elite stats in catches, yards, and touchdowns, Mike has himself at least 2x of DFFL's best receivers (ARSB, the other) helping him to repeat as Champs in DFFL.

Isaiah Pacheco (RB): One could argue that Mike's 11 win championship season last year was as a direct result of CMC’s success. Indeed, CMC was a Top 5 RB, consistently getting close and/or passing projected points in 2023. Who will step up and into that role for The Six in 2024? Arguably, that player should be Pacheco. Among Mike's litany of runners, he seems best postured for a great season. While Jerrick McKinnon and CEH could bite into Pacheco’s share, Pacheco’s youth and talent shows he can be a consistent producer in KC. If this happens, The Six are favored to repeat. Especially when added to Jamyr Gibbs’ expected production.

Practice Squad (Taxi)

Jonathon Brooks (RB - R1)

Malik Nabers (WR - R1)

TK’s Player in the Spotlight (PitS) - Baltimore's Zay Flowers (WR) takes a rocketed step up among fantasy receivers and consistently stays in the Top 5 through the 2024 season. Production expectations are achieved with Amon-Ra St. Brown (WR) and A. J. Brown (WR), and Mike's PTS easily manages 11 wins in 2024. Though PTS struggles to find consistency at the running back position, Mike heads to DFFL Bowl VII to defend their 2023 Championship.

CAP (2024) - $111 ($13 DM)

Draft Capital (2025 +): 6 picks (2 firsts)

OVERALL GRADE

A+

Point Six has a bench that dwarfs many DFFL starters. This provides PTS with a great deal of flexibility to account for not just BYE weeks, but intangibles like injuries, etc. As a result of drafting, signing and trading for over 5 Top Tier contracts, PTS grade skyrockets past B. Those contracts are seen as league winners, either through sheer talent and production, or via trades for top players as a result of contract cost.

PTS retains over $100 in CAP - used to either re-sign top performers or to compete with other DFFL franchises in bringing in needed reinforcements as the season progresses.

The future of PTS is sound with 6 future draft picks, 2 of which are 1st Rounders. Additionally, PTS holds multiple rookie contracts on players who are either at the top of their respective depth charts are well on their way to owning it.

PTS is poised to repeat like no team since UGG in 2022. What makes this team different than The Life (UGG), is that it remains largely unchanged from the champion season and improved with consistent players over the offseason. Could PTS falter as UGG did in 2022? OF COURSE! But I'd love to be Mike heading into this season!
