Players to Watch (PTW):

Dalton Kincaid (TE) - The Ups had a RB, WR and QB all crushing the points last season. Looking at the squad this year significant questions linger regarding whether TIU can sustain those players' successes; however, likely TIU gets at least 75% their 2023 production this szn. Now, Bart Senior’s TE Kincaid is the TE1 for Buffalo in 2024. It's more than certain, Senior contracts him off Taxi - preventing a RAF poaching in late August. The Bills, who have significantly changed the receiver signature of their team, will expect Kincaid to step up in a big way. If this happens, TIU will be competitive in Malt Division, as he will have 4 of 4 key fantasy positions workinv on all cylinders for primo production on a weekly basis. If the Bills falter and/or Kincaid isn't what we expect him to be, then TIU risks once again failing to not only miss the make the playoffs but vying for Toilet Bowl King in ‘24.

Zack Moss (RB) - Both Moss and Mostert (TIU's M&Ms, if you will) were really, really good in 2023. No one expected their production, but they played as Top 5 RBs for much of the year! With Devon Achane expected to move into the RB1 position in Miami, Mostert can't be trusted to return the type of production he was giving fantasy owners last season (personally, I would take the over that Mostert is a 20+ point back every week). Regardless The Ups needs Moss to do great things in a very capable NFL offense in 2024. Moss is probably better than Mixon (IMO). Moss, when given the snap counts, tends to power through and surprise folks. Mixon had solid games and then not so solid games (probably because the neighborhood kids were keeping him up?...I dunno..). Anyway, TIU can stay competitive if Moss goes to work and "BlueCollars" his way to another Top 10 RB season. Furthermore, if Senior's M&Ms melts in his mouth and not on the bench, he could truly be competitive as a playoff bound team. Especially since it's more than probable that Aaron Jones gets it done in Minnesota!

Practice Squad (Taxi)

Jayden "Cant" Reed (WR - RS2)

Justin "Cuhdhenghet" Shorter (WR - RS2)

Dalton Kincaid (TE - RS2)

Theo "RS32B" Johnson (RB - RS1)

Jaylen "Cuhdhentbe" Wright (RB - RS1)

Hendon "Issa" Hooker (QB - RS2)

Jake "Kwight" Moody (K - RS2)

The PiTS

(TK’s Player in the Spotlight) - Aaron Jones, RB, Minnesota Vikings, will be a Top 5 RB in 2024! With uncertainty at QB and potential problems with some of the receivers, Aaron Jones is vying for alpha status on the offense in Minneapolis. This is what he's waited for his whole career! This is Aaron Jones time! Bart Sr. knows this and picked the DFFL Playoffs wildcard player in 2024. Jones never leaves the TOP 5 this season, and TIU gets to the playoffs as a result!

CAP (2024) - $110 ($2DM)

Draft Capital (2025 +): 10 Picks (3x 1st)

OVERALL GRADE

C+

TIU's biggest concern in 2024 will be competing with the likes of NUT, KED, and DNF. Malt Division is pretty tough sledding if you’re not NUT. I bet TIU wishes he were in Barley right now, because he'd have a better chance at Division Champion. With only 1x Elite Contract, TIU has their work cut out for them come September. Aging players on offenses with too many alphas will probably hinder TIU's lineup on a consistent basis.

The Ups is one of those teams that maximizes Taxi time for their players. Given that Dalton Kincaid and Jayde Reed will certainly get TIU contracts in 2024, Bart Sr.'s bench actually is quite decent. The additional CAP should provide Bart Sr. the ability to compete for FFAA talent as well as waiver gems during the season.

TIU's draft capital is great with ten picks and three 1sts. However, Bart St. tends to keep and use these picks, so I doubt they translate into trades for talent this year.

Toe It Up is a wild card team in 2024. Will Diggs be the #1 target for Stroud and get significant production as a result? Will Tee Higgins blow up in production to bouy his chancers at a nice contract with another team in 2025? Does Courtland Sutton make a productive connection with any of Denver's rookie QBs? So many questions where if the answers are YES then TIU is cruising. However, if these things don't pan out, TIU is facing yet another disappointing season.
