- UGG (4) wins his 4th TYSON this week after beating JWW by just over 38 points. The score, 181.54 to 143.50, could have been much worse for JWW had Mike Evans not come up with about 11 of 18 promised points. Evans’ job so it seems was slightly decreasing the soreness of a knockout and not helping to win JWW a Week 13 victory. UGG on the other hand continues to make mincemeat of anyone he plays week-to-week.

- DNF (2) for the second straight week gets the CLIFFHANGER Award. I..keep…waiting..for..a…stat..correction..to give this award to NUT. Yes, I mean, this really couldn’t have been much closer of a score. DNF holds on to a 0.56 point win in a 144.86 to 144.30 victory! It came down to a MNF game where Saints Def/ST was stellar all night, giving DNF the comfort of heading to a comfortable and confident slumber…(scene)...
‘Twas the night before Tuesday, the witching hour, it came. Not a worry from NUT, King Henry’s Sunday was lame.
Saints Defense would hold! DNF was ecstatic. He drifted to slumber, that deer porn, fantastic!
Saints Defense was stellar, despite all his worry.
No need to fret, and he got to bed early.
When out in Tampa there arose a Saints disaster!
Brady scored late in the 4th…DNF’s heart, it raced faster.
But what to his wondering eyes should appear? A razor thin DNF victory, nothing more left to fear!’

Maguire Award. Show me the Money!
- UGG (6) wins an historic 6th MAGUIRE of the 2022 DFFL Season…and there’s one game left! Scoring over 181 points in Week 13, puts UGG’s bank at $300 worth of Big Money Weeks. No DFFL team has achieved this distinction, beating CAB’s record of 4 in the 2020 season. CAB would later go on to win the Championship that year. Of note, UGG won this award three times last year…and won. #juggernaut #TopStockOwner #WinnersCircle…#etc… Key players for UGG’s success this week were Joe Cool, Davante Adams, and Eagles Defense which all out did their production predictions. Josh Jacobs and Steffon Diggs were key as well, and solid consistency week after week.
DFFL scored 1664.88 in Week 13. Production once again fell by just over 120 points from Week 12. (Week 12: 1790.8).

Meme Award. When your best isn’t good enough, but makes for great jokes!
- TIU (1) earns his first MEME of the year, but did manage to break 100 points. All teams got over 100 for the first time since Week 5. TIU scored just a hair over 108 points this week with less than optimal scoring from his tranche of Bills players. The Bills pulled out a victory, but NE Defense gave tough sledding a fat loss to their favorite fan TIU. In the end Geno got more points than Josh #smh and RAF’s favorite TE, Dulcich did almost 10 points better than starter Travice Kelce. What can you say? Just not a TIU week…and thus not much for playoff hopes at this point.

Shamrock Award. I found me 4-leaf clover, and though small, I be a winner!
- KED (3) wins a SHAMROCK with a lowwww score of just under 118 points in Week 13. However, KED be happy. KED be happy, cuz KED lost two yuuuuge starters to injury early in their games…and KED still pulled off a win. Talk about soul searching and fantasy 22 autopsy assessments TIU needs to be completing! KED lost LaJax AND Kenneth “Needsa” Walker III, got the typical showing from JuJu Worthless Smith-Shuster and still pulled out a victory; granted a small under 10 point victory..still! Congrats to KED for taking what the Fantasy Gods could give him and still getting the 2 Seed (very likely?).

“Red Shirt” Award. Starfleet security officer taking one for CAPT Kirk.
- TMW (1) gets a first RED SHIRT this season in Week 13 with a high score of 144.74 in a big fat loss. Honorable mention goes to NUT who was within 0.4 points of getting this di’stink’tion. TMW decided it was relatively benign to beam down and attempt the overthrow of Planet DeadMoney. Surely a Lazard, Gisicki, Parris, and Warren would be no match for the likes of Tyreek, Andrews, Watson and CeeDee?!?!? The problem with this respectable conclusion was that TMW drove a Kamara back to the Surface Lander. As he has done before, but without such disaster, he put his trust in this increasingly overpriced jalopy. TMW didn’t make it back..his red shirt hung from the Week 13 Hall of Fantasy Honor; those who went boldly into the night, never to return. This game is history!

Mojo Award. “Yeah, Baby!” Best pickup or start/sit decisions.
- DNF (3) gets a MOJO this week. As I reviewed lineups and benches, many owners made some interesting decisions this week that could arguably show significant Mojo. For example, DMM started Zuerlein who got a whopping 19 points at the Kicker position, propelling him to victory over TMW! Kudos! MTT started Joseph who bested projections and helped MTT to achieve a much needed, but sadly, not playoff impactful victory..Outstanding! UGG started, well, pretty much anyone woulda worked..earning him another of many ‘W’s. Woot! Woot! Also, KED started Pacheco and earned over 31 points! High Score for RB in Week 13..NIIIICE!! Finally, RAF started Perine who blew out projected points and helped RAF ease into the #3 seed…(he hopes). However, none were so impactful as DNF’s decision to start the Saints Defense/ST (9) versus an expected Brady Make a Comeback MNF Headliner. The Nutcracker.54 Game, as we now call it, salvaged DNF’s interesting year, and places him firmly in the Playoffs (he hopes..Brian?). The Mojo is great in the waning weeks of the 22 Season for DNF. BZ!!

Noonan Award. “Best Ball Award”...na-na-na-na-naaaa!.
- NUT (3) gets a NOONAN in Week 13. NUT at the end of MNF looked at his start/sits decision and pondered what might have been had he started MNF Comeback Kid Tom ‘Never Ages’ Brady (29.64) over Tua ‘Tuna Stank’ Tagovailoa (22.30). What might have been, well, woulda been, coulda been…shoulda been, was an easy victory over DNF. Score woulda been a NUT victory just under 7 points. Other Noonan possibilities; however, likely without the sheer anger and frustration seen by NUT were the following interesting start/sit decisions: TIU would like a do over at TE; playing Dulcich (15+) over Kelce..yeah, head explosion emoji..(7.6). RAF would like to play anyone on his bench other than starter Kyren Williams. JWW coulda got more points in his loss by playing Goff (30+) over Dak (26.8). KED wants a mulligan with his WRs, switching out JuJu for Chark.
