!!CONGRATULATIONS NUT ON GETTING HIGH SCORE FOR WEEK SIX!!

MANTLE OF MAGNIFICENCE

Kudos to all the teams that pulled out victories in Week 6. NUT remains the sole DFFL undefeated team! I'm certain that we are getting close to a DFFL record (if we haven't already reached it). NUT and CAB are division leaders and sprinting to playoff seeding.

(NUT(6-0)⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🏈🤺), (TMW (4-2)⭐⭐⭐⭐🏈), (MTT(2-4)⭐ ), (RAF(2-4) 🤺), (CAB(5-1)), and (KED(3-3) 🏈 ) in order of points scored.

CELLAR OF SHAME

This cellar of doom has been mortgaged by JWW, which is sadly becoming the Winless Wonder at 0-6. Barley (TIU) and Hops (PTS) has some winning record teams that are vying for Division lead with TMW and CAB, and are definitely in the running for Playoff seeding. Perhaps this is the character building they need to finish strong? We'll see...

(PTS (4-2)⭐), (TIU(4-2) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ), (DMM (2-4) ⭐🏈), (DNF(2-4) ⭐🤺🤺), (JWW (0-6) ⭐⭐), and (UGG(2-4)⭐) in order of losing points scored.

DFFL WEEK 6 AWARDS

Tyson Award. Nite, Nite! Thleep Tight!

- TMW (2) beat the heck out of DNF this week, earning a second Tyson Award for the season. The difference - 57.4 - proved too much for The Fan'Tasty, who drops a second game in a row. Tyreek Hill, King Henry and Butker exploded past projections and put this game away in the first half of Sunday's games.

2023: RAF (1), PTS (2), MTT (1), TMW (2)

Historical: JWW 139.88

Maguire Award. Show me the Money!

- NUT (1) wins his FIRST Maguire of the year this week beating PTS in a 174.4 to 157 game. NUT who remains DFFL's only undefeated team got the points he needed from Cee Dee Lamb who had the best game since Week 2. Congratulations to the money maker!

2023: TMW (2), PTS (1), TIU (2), NUT (1)

Historical: DNF 246.5

Cliffhanger Award. By the skin of your teeth and newly discovered hair loss!

- KED (1) wins his first Cliffhanger this week, beating DMM by only 4.32 points. He can thank Walker, Shaheed, and his Kicker Maher for beating their production expectations and getting this close but consequential win. KED is now 3-3 and the one of the toughest teams to play week-to-week.

2023: UGG (1), DNF (1), NUT (3), KED (1)

Historical: “The Tie”’19 (CAB vs RAF); “Halloween Howler.84”’22 (TMW vs NUT)

Meme Award. When your best isn’t good enough, but makes for great jokes!

- UGG (2) earns a second Meme Award for the season so far, barely breaking 100 points (106.9) in a loss to MTT (161.4). Burrow and Chase had a fraction of their projected points and David Montgomery got hurt. Austin Ekeler did nothing to bring in expected points, but Brandon Cooks got a solid 16 points. UGG is going to need more from his RBs and WRs going forward if he is to compete in Barley for playoff contention.

2023: MTT (1), RAF (2), DNF (1), UGG (2)

Historical: MTT 55.82 (Wk1/2023), OIE (MTT) 66.04.

Shamrock Award. I found me 4-leaf clover, and though small, I be a winner!

- KED (2) managed a pathetic 125 points this week winning his second lowest scoring win in a row! See his Cliffhanger Award above for how he came up with the win. While I would normally commend KED for benching the disappointing Joe Mixon, he actually scored more than homer Rashaad White, who has been disappointing for more than 3 weeks.

2023: UGG (1), PTS (1), CAB (2), KED (2)

Historical: CAB 102.7

TY-SHAM: PTSvsRAF(wk2 138.02).

Red Shirt Award. Starfleet security officer taking one for CAPT Kirk.

- PTS (1) earns his first Red Shirt Award for getting the highest score in a losing matchup. Earning 157 points, he would have beat 8 out of 12 teams this week. However, he faced the undefeated juggernaut, NUT, and simply could not sustain the points required to beat the Maguiresque points that NUT put up this week. This is PTS' second loss in a row, and they cede the Hops Division lead to the 5-1 CAB franchise.

2023: KED (2), TMW (1), DMM (2), PTS (1)

Historical: NUT 205.10 (Halloween Howler, Oct22)

Mojo Award. “Yeah, Baby!” Best pickup or start/sit decisions.

- RAF (1) wins his first Mojo Award of 2023. While RAF is in the bottom of Hops Division, he continues to make the right moves to get a win. This is what every manager should be doing every week - especially if you have a chance at Playoffs glory! RAF earns a Mojo for the purchase and staring of D'Ontae Foreman (10). Foreman had a solid game as the lead back for Chicago against a tough Minnesota Vikings run defense. RAF also started Kendrick Bourne (17) and Zeke Elliott (15) who exceeded projections leading to RAF's second win of the season.

2023: MTT (1), JWW (2), TMW (1), DMM (1), RAF (1)

Noonan Award. "Best Ball Award"..nana nana naaa!

- TIU (1) earns the Noonan this week for going with Tee "can't score" Higgins (4 of 17) in his FLEX instead of Zack "always on time with the points" Moss (19). Had he started Moss, he would have beat back the CAB Jr. and won the Bart Bowl.

2023: MTT (1), JWW (2), TMW (1), DMM (1) TIU (1)

Deck Chairs Award. First Class or Steerage? All equally suck on Titanic!

- DNF (2) gets the D.C. Award this week for nabbing Michael Gallup a couple weeks ago, placing him on the Bridge of USS DNF and going down in major flamage to TMW. Gallup who is one of the biggest disappointments in Fantasy Football, busted this week. He earned only 5 of 11 points in his start for DNF. While it wouldn't have mattered had he scored over projections, his pick up a couple weeks ago does nothing to buoy DNF's chances to compete in Malt Division this year.

2023: JWW (1), DMM (1), UGG (1), RAF (2), DNF (2),

Here we go into Week 7. JWW is seeking his first win, and NUT can't seem to lose. Does this remain the theme in DFFL moving forward? Who among the middlings will begin to break out and make a Dark Horse Playoff run?
